Fertility texting is free. Just Sign Up for a free account at MyFertilityCharts.com.

After you login, select Cell Phone Text Messaging from the Settings menu. Further instructions on activating your phone and using the service can be found there.

How Can I Start?

Fertility Texting is free. All you need to do is register for a free account on MyFertilityCharts.com. It only takes a moment and your personal information, cell phone number, and email address will not be shared with anyone.

STEP 1:
Sign up for an account at MyFertilityCharts.com. Click here to launch this in another window.

STEP 2:
After you sign up and activate your account by confirming your email address, you can configure text messaging. To do this, first login to your account. From the menu page, you can select the "Cell Phone Text Messaging" link under the "Settings Links" near the bottom. Alternatively, you can use the menu at the top of any page and select "Cell Phone Text Messaging" under the "Settings" menu.

STEP 3:
The previous step will take you to the cell phone text messaging page. Further instructions can be found on this page. You will first need to specify your cell phone number. There are two ways you can do this:

  1. You can enter your phone number and select your provider.
  2. You can manually specify the electronic address of your cell phone. This advanced option is only needed if you have problems getting the first one to work.
The activation process simply involves sending a test text message to your phone. You then must respond to this text message with a special code specified in the text message you received. Please be careful to resend this code exactly. You can email support if your provider is not listed or you experience problems activating your phone.

STEP 4:
After you activate your phone, you are ready to go. You can record fertility symptoms and information via text messaging whenever you want. You can also request information this same way. A full listing of commands is available from the text messaging configuration page. Just use any of the links advertising the Examples page.

STEP 5: (optional)
Some advanced users may wish to customize the commands. You can do this on the same page where you registered your cell phone number. Simply click on the Command tab.
